Zylofon Media is a multimedia entertainment company established to supply profitable, acceptable, audio and visual entertainment to diverse domestic and international consumers.
Since they become operational in Ghana, they have injected a level of professionalism into the system and Ghanaians are happy about it.
Just last week, the company announced a $1 million Zylofon Arts Fund to enable those in the creative arts industry to get loans for projects they badly needed funds to execute.
Many have applauded Zylofon Media for taking such a bold step to set up the $1 million fund, hoping the fund will revive the deteriorating industry in Ghana.
However, the CEO of Speech Production, Enoch Agyapong has made a bizarre suggestion; saying persons in the creative arts industry should write proposals and access the Zylofon Arts Fund and go on to spend it.
Mr Enoch Agyapong, in an interview on Onua FM thus:
We need to put the industry on a business platform, where people will invest into the industry and know they will get their money back, then we can encourage people to put their money in.
Management of Zylofon Media know people can’t pay for the loans that’s why they are saying its interest-free, they are sharing the money like bread, take your proposals there, take the money and spend it.
Let’s build the industry to the point that, when you invest your money into it you will get returns.
