A 12-year-old student had met his untimely death after he was bullied by some of his colleagues for refusing to oblige to their demands of joining their cult,
The young boy who refused the request of his friend on the basis that he wasn’t trained to become one was reportedly beaten to death by his colleagues after he declined their request to join a cult.
Sylvester Oromoni Junior as he’s been identified is a student of Dowen College, Lekki Phase One in Nigeria.
Sylvester, after he was attacked for his refusal to join the cult, suffered fatal injuries and was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
In a post sighted on social media, a relative of the deceased explained that the school’s management informed the family that Sylvester sustained injuries while playing football.
Test from the hospital revealed that Sylvester was severely beaten, causing internal damages to his skull and other organs in his body.
According to the relative, before his death, Sylvester disclosed to his parents how he was pressured to join a cult by some of his mates.
Sylvester revealed that the cult members also threatened to kill him if he reported them.
He also mentioned some names of the cult members to his parents before he passed away yesterday.
