Kwame Baffoe, well known as Abronye DC, the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has pledged to do his share to help the party win the 2024 general elections.
Mr. Baffoe expects the NPP to win both the presidential and legislative elections in Bono with a margin of more than 50%.
After a fiercely fought election in which 26 candidates, 23 men and three women, competed for 10 seats, he has pledged to keep his post.
For the presidential election, I want to obtain between 53 and 55 percent of the vote. As for the legislative elections, I want to get an absolute majority.
As expected, Abronye DC won re-election with 173 votes, defeating his primary rival, Konlaabig Rasheed [the current Regional Organiser].
During an interview with Eyewitness News, Abronye DC urged the NPP’s “Break the Eight” candidates to be focused on achieving their goals.
A person losing does not disqualify him or her as a member of the party. We need everyone’s help to break the eight,” he said.
