Octogenarians Comfort Akosua Nyarkoa and Grace Akosua Nyarkoa are the oldest twins alive in Akwamufie in the Eastern Region.
The 87-year-old twins were alive during World War II, a global war from 1939 to 1945, and Ghana’s independence.
The twins joined social media influencer Nänä Teä, who visited them with his 2-year-old twins to celebrate his birthday with them.
Akwamufie is the state and seat capital of the Akwamu state or kingdom where the Paramount Chief, Odeneho Kwafo-Akoto III, and Queen Nana Afrakoma II reside and administer their operations.
When Nana Tea visited the twins, they prayed with him and blessed his 2-year-old twin boys.
