Who ever thought Mark would be coming to Nigeria today?
The 7th richest man and CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg has arrived in Nigeria to meet with developers and entrepreneurs in the country. Pictures of him in Nigeria were first seen across social media platforms of some IT gurus but it was hard to believe Mark was in Nigeria until he confirmed his visit in the country on his Facebook wall.
“Next stop: Lagos! This is my first trip to sub-Saharan Africa. I’ll be meeting with developers and entrepreneurs, and learning about the startup ecosystem in Nigeria. The energy here is amazing and I’m excited to learn as much as I can.
Our first stop is the Co-creation Hub Nigeria (CcHUB) in Yaba. I got to talk to kids at a summer coding camp and entrepreneurs who come to CcHub to build and launch their apps. I’m looking forward to meeting more people here!’-Mar wrote on his Facebook wall.
His visit was really unannounced because just yesterday Mark was in Rome with his wife! Well, if you are a billionaire flying around the world is easy.
