I believe by now, everybody knows that the whole Afia Schwarznegger and her husband’s marriage scandal which is being treated as a criminal case is in court and her husband has been slapped with about five different charges.
The matter is still in court, so we wouldn’t want to comment much on it but the lawyer for Afia’s husband, Maurice Ampaw has disclosed in an interview with Ghanaweb.com that, his client is seeking for alimony–which is property settlement after the divorce.
Maurice’s argument for his client is that the house in which Afia Schwarz lives in now was acquired in the course of their marriage by both parties and Afia Schwarz committed adultery. He mentioned that they are still legally married as they are yet to seek for a dissolution of the marriage in another court.
“My client, Abrokwah is going to file for a divorce and we are going to claim alimony on the grounds of adultery because legally we are still married to Afia Schwarznegger”
“We want property settlement as to the sharing of the house and other properties acquired in the course of the marriage.”Maurice said

After Maurice’s announcement of what he and his client intends to do, it appears Afia Schwarznegger didn’t take it lightly and has taken a subtle swipe at Maurice Ampaw although he didn’t mention his name in her post but it’s not rocket science to know that she was referring to him, looking at the time she made those comments and the circumstances.
Afia in her post suggested Maurice was ‘unintelligent’ and a ‘clown’ and even tagged him as a ‘Kejetia’ sort of lawyer.
She wrote; “I have always tot ALL lawyers are noble and intelligent people until i heard a clown running his mouth..

But Afia didn’t just end there, she took a swipe at her husband, calling him a ‘Lazy’ man and made him aware that she was not ready to share her property with him.
