She also worked as an intern at Glendale-based ABC7 for another four months before making a move to join WJLA in June 2012. She however served as an intern and freelance writer at the Orange County Register in Santa Ana California and also interned at KABC3 in Los Angeles.

After leaving ABC 57, she joined KSBY in San Luis Obispo where she became an anchor, reporter, and meteorologist from August 2014 to May 2015.
