Ghanaian musician, Jehoshaphat Kwabena Eshun, also known as Skrew Face has made his assertion known about dealings in the Ghana music industry.
Skrew Face who has been in the dugout for the past years has stated that juju in the music industry is so real even though people find it hard to believe it.
According to him, before one can make a name in the music scene, it’s either you really on God for hit songs or you engage in full-time juju.
He said this during an exclusive interview with DJ Master P.
He narrated that he once even had a call from a person to come to the Awudome cemetery to witness what someone was doing to a fellow musician.
Skrew Face noted that upon his arrival, he saw a buried CD of an artist with a red string tied around it. Skrewfaze said he saw the artiste whose CD was being buried but for some reason, he was not going to reveal the identity.
He shared his experience of when he was enchanted with juju during one f of his performances at the National Theater.
According to him, he was to perform at the National Theatre with another artiste and had spent a lot of time rehearsing for the show. The other artiste came to see him and encouraged him to give off his best during his performance and they exchanged handshakes.
Skrewfaze said immediately the artiste left, he lost his voice and was struggling to be even audible for the show. The Gbalagazaa crooner said it was very real that there was the use of black magic in the industry.
