Asamoah Gyan has achieved another record for himself as his name has been mentioned in the list of top highest scoring active international footballers. Asamoah Gyan who is the skipper of the Black Stars sometime last year became the first Black Star player to score 50 goals for the National team and now he’s been listed as the 9th highest-scoring active international football player.
Cristiano Ronaldo ( Portugal) topped the list with 81 goals, followed by Messi (Argentina) with 61 goals and Villa (Spain) with 59 goals.
The ranking was done by Bleacher Report Football and was posted on their Facebook page as seen below:
Gyan who was excited at the news in an Instagram post thanked his colleagues for making that possible. In a post, on Instagram, he wrote; “Who say man no dey? Thanks to all my black Stars teammates since 2003. They made this possible. 🙏🙏🙏🙏”
