Popular Canadian professional ice hockey player Bobby Hull competed for the National Hockey League’s Chicago Blackhawks, Winnipeg Jets, and Hartford Whalers (NHL).

Bobby Hull, who is renowned for his speed, ability to score, and strong shot, is regarded as one of the best hockey players of all time. In 1983, Hull was admitted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Bobby Hull passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 84. Tributes to the late legend are flooding in.

The birthplace of Hull is Point Anne, Ontario. He was the son of cement industry foreman Robert Edward Hull and Lena Cook. His junior hockey career began in Belleville, and in the fall of 1954, he began playing Junior B hockey for the Woodstock Warriors.

As Ontario’s winners in 1955, Hull steered the Warriors to the Sutherland Cup. Before signing on with the Chicago Black Hawks in 1957 at the age of 18, he later played for the Galt Black Hawks and the St. Catharines Teepees in the Ontario Hockey Association.

Hull finished his NHL career with 1,063 games played, 610 goals, 560 assists, 1,170 points, 640 penalties, three Art Ross Trophies, two Hart Trophies (he placed second or third in the voting an additional six times), a Lady Byng Memorial Trophy, and a Stanley Cup victory. He also added 62 goals and 67 assists for 129 points in 119 playoff games.

He participated in 411 WHA games, scoring 303 goals, 335 assists, and 638 points. In 60 playoff games, he added another 43 goals and 37 assists. His 1,018 goals in the NHL and WHA, including playoffs, are the third-most goals in North American major league history, behind Gordie Howe (1,109) and Wayne Gretzky (1,071),

Dennis William Hull, a former professional ice hockey left winger from Canada, was born on November 19, 1944. He is the sibling of Bobby Hull. He spent the majority of his career with the National Hockey League’s Chicago Black Hawks. He is Brett and Bart Hull’s uncle and Bobby Hull’s brother.
