Bruce Willis Biography
Born in 1955 in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany, Willis moved to New Jersey with his family when he was two years old. After graduating from high school, he worked odd jobs before deciding to pursue acting. He studied drama at Montclair State University and later moved to New York City to further his career.
Willis started out as a stage actor and had several small roles on television before landing his breakthrough role on the hit TV series Moonlighting in 1985. Moonlighting starred Willis as David Addison, a wisecracking private investigator, and his chemistry with co-star Cybill Shepherd were electric. The show was a critical and commercial success, and Willis was soon offered movie roles. In 1988, he starred in Die Hard, which would become one of the defining films of his career. Willis played John McClane, a wisecracking cop who battles terrorists in a Los Angeles skyscraper. Die Hard was a massive box office hit and cemented Willis’s status as an action star.
Over the years, Willis has continued to play a wide variety of roles. He has starred in comedies like The Whole Nine Yards, dramatic films like Pulp Fiction and Twelve Monkeys, and action movies like Armageddon and The Expendables. Willis is also known for his voice acting work, having lent his voice to characters in several animated films and TV shows.

Willis has been married twice. He was first married to actress Demi Moore on November 21, 1987. They had three daughters together namely Rumer Glenn Willis, Scout LaRue Willis and Tallulah Belle Willis.
After divorcing Demi Moore on October 18, 2000, Bruce Willis remarried again to model Emma Heming. They married on March 21, 2009. Bruce had another two girls with his new and current wife namely Mabel Ray Willis and Evelyn Penn Willis.
