Businesswoman burst into tears as potential customer scams her with fake money, buys half of her shop items

A Nigerian businesswoman has burst into tears after a potential customer swindled her with fake currency to buy her products.

The woman said the customer came to her shop with an item with plenty noted and ended up losing everything as the money was counterfeit.

She stated the customer bought drinks worth N200,000 (Ghc 2,987.05) with fake N1,000 note and didn’t say nothing until the customer left.

In footage that has found its way into the digital space, the woman could be seen crying over the unfortunate incident.

Her shop is said to be located in Abule Egba, Lagos as she displayed the fake currency notes and also showed how her shop is almost empty after she was scammed.
