When Shatta Wale made headlines for his historic signing by Zylofon Media last week, many wondered if the giant record label could really manage the controversial artiste, bearing in mind how dented his image has been over the past months.
However, the Public Relations Officer of Zylofon Music, Sammy Flex has revealed it’s better to allow the Chop Kiss hit maker to operate the way he wants, but within the confines of their agreement.
In other words, Sammy Flex says they won’t do anything to alter Shatta Wale’s huge ego which is shrouded in exuberance. The PRO disclosed this when he spoke to Sunyani-based Suncity.
Here’s what he said:
I am not sure what we have to do is tame him. Over the years what he does have made him who he is now. It will be a mistake at the moment that you try to tame him.
We have accepted the task to manage him… he has also agreed…and accepted that we have the power to control what he does as a management people.
He [Shatta Wale] even said during the unveiling that he want to be controlled. To me, he is ready to work. We have to manage every situation because that’s why we are called managers.
The work would be done and Shatta Wale will still be Shatta Wale. He is not going to change.
He is Shatta Wale that is why we even went for him. It won’t be in a negative way…it is something that will help the industry.
Commenting on the infamous rift between Shatta Wale and Bulldog, Sammy Flex indicated that both parties have resolved their differences.
He is very okay. They have settled their differences. Everything is fine/
