Ghanaian stand-up comedian and presenter, Foster Romanus has recently revealed that, he is taking a break from comedy to pursue a career in dancehall music.
In an Interview on the Late Nite Celebrity Show, Foster Romanus premiered his new music video and went on to make some clarifications regarding his new venture.
Foster told the guest host Laila that, he has not dropped comedy but music is one side of him which he has been doing for sometime now and he has now decided to see how well he can commercialize it.
‘’Most of the people who see me on stage mostly see me come with a song or two. At my last show in December last year, I did some live band performances’’, he mentioned.
Foster added that his type of music is what he calls ‘gospirational’ which is gospel fused with inspirational.
‘’Gospirational in the sense that I try to do something that everyone can relate to and I don’t call it gospel or inspirational because I believe it is a mixture of both’’. He added.
Foster further bemoaned that he has more of the music in store for his fans and this will not be a one-time thing.
Foster’s first music video is titled “Life goes on” and was premiered exclusively on e.TV Ghana.
