Barbara, the wife of late Captain Major Maxwell Mahama who was killed in Denkyira Obuasi has penned down an emotional note for her late husband four years after his unfortunate death.
Barbara Mahama in a post on her Facebook page wrote an emotional letter to her late husband reminding his soul of how his kids are growing just like him.
She added that the children are doing fine and disclosed that anytime she sees them, they remind her of her late husband.
“Dear Maxwell, your boys are growing, they are doing well. It amazes me the kind of things that can be inherited, sometimes it’s funny. One walks and I see you in him, the other talks and it’s so like you. I enjoy listening to them just as I enjoyed listening to you, I end up saying to myself you never went”. Parts of the notes indicated.
“I will laugh unapologetically, I will dance unapologetically, I will cry when I want to cry, there is no timetable in this journey. It’s okay to be okay and it’s okay not to be okay”. She added.
Major Maxwell Mahama met his untimely death on the 29th of May, 2017 after residents of Denkyira Obuasi in the Central Region mistook him for an armed robber when he went jogging through the town.
