Fiifi Tackie, the spokesperson for the Ayew family, has debunked reports that the Ayew brother consisting of Andre and Jordan Ayew have reportedly quit the Black Stars.

This comes at the back of several reports that the two brothers who were heavily criticized for their abysmal performance leading to Ghana’s elimination from the 2021 AFCON tournament in Cameroon have hung their boots at the National team level.

“Andrè and Jordan Ayew are still very committed to the Black Stars team as they have always been,” Fiifi Tackie wrote on Twitter.

“They will keep donning the Black Stars jersey to represent Ghana and give the team their very best on and off the pitch, as always. We just got off the phone.”

Both Andre and Jordan played at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where Ghana were beaten by Morocco and debutants Comoros Island in the group stages, managing just a point in the game versus Gabon.
