The entire Bible never mentioned Jesus Christ ever marrying or having children. In fact, the whole New Testament narrated the life of Jesus Christ from his birth to his death and resurrection without mentioning his family. However, there are other books outside the Christian faith which say “No, Jesus married and had children but the Apostles kept mute about it”. So, did Jesus Christ have children? Who did he marry? Did Jesus Marry And Have Children?
The Bible recorded Jesus attending a wedding feast but never mentioned people attending his. He was very busy snatching people from the path of unrighteousness. The Bible records Jesus saying in John 9:4 As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. From the scripture, Jesus had little time to spend around doing nothing.
If Jesus ever married why was the Bible silent about it? God authored marriage and the Bible also frowns on adultery and fornication and so why should the Bible keep quiet if Jesus also married? Doesn’t it sound weird? Jesus’s earthly parents and siblings were mentioned so why should the Bible keep quiet on Jesus’s wife and children?
In 2014, a book titled “The Lost Gospel” by Simcha Jacobovici and Barrie Wilson also supported other books such as Dan Brown’s The Davinci Code and Karen L. King’s “Gospel of Jesus’ Wife,”. Christians are urged in the Bible not to believe anything outside the Bible even if said by angels. Galatians 1:8, ESV: But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed.
Should Christians Be Worried If Jesus Ever Married?
The entire Bible speaks about the power Jesus has over both life and death. This is what Christianity is based on. If Jesus was ever married with children, that doesn’t change who he was.
