Few weeks ago, we at GhBase.com reported about the decision Chinese Billionaire Jack Ma to offer PPEs to African countries across the globe to help fight against Coronavirus.
Ghana was among the African countries that received items which included 38,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical materials from the the Billionaire’s Jack Ma foundation.
The items landed at the Kotoka international airport on board a chartered Chinese aircraft and was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Ms Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey and Minister of Health Mr Kwaku Agyemang-Manu.
There’s been several reactions on social media about the items with some claiming the items have been infected with the deadly virus.
Reacting to this, Ghanaian actor and model Prince David Osei who clearly doesn’t trust the intentions of the Chinese’ act of benevolence took to his Instagram page and cautioned the President of Ghana to not put his trust in the Chinese people because of their racist behavior towards Ghanaians.
