The 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) artiste of the year, E.L, not long ago hinted on sacking his management team over poor performance as published by Ghbase.com. According to the artist, the progress he was hoping to achieve in music after winning the prestigious VGMA-16 artiste of the year has not been realised.

Nonetheless, Stephan, E. L’s current manager has come out to debunk the rumours. Simply put, E.L is not parting ways with BBnZ Live, the multi-purpose entertainment company managing his career, NEWS-ONE has gathered from official sources.

“We heard media reports suggesting that E.L had said he was contemplating changing his management and leaving BBnZ but when we asked him, he said it is not true. In fact, I was the one who personally asked him and he denied he had such thoughts,” Stephan, E.L’s manager, told Starr FM’s Morning Zoo over the weekend.

E.L’s manager, however, admitted that there was still room for improvement and the team could do more.

“I believe we are working very hard and everyone knows that but the stakes and expectations are very high and that is where the challenge is. But as a team, we are very united with the artiste and not relenting,” Stephan added.

Stephan mentioned that after E.L saw the story that he was divorcing his management team, the artiste had granted several interviews to deny and set the records straight but for unexplained reasons, a section of the media continued to run with the first story which was a misrepresentation and had since been corrected.
