Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Lagos State Governor has ordered the police to release all EndSars protestors who were arrested during the commemoration.
On Wednesday, the commemoration of the October 20th Lekki tollgate shooting was held as scores of people trooped out to observe a protest for people who lost their lives.
Sanwo-Olu, the governor of the state on Thursday directed that all innocent and peaceful citizens who were arrested should be freed immediately.
According to him, only a man who was busted holding a dangerous weapon including a machete will be arranged for prosecution.
He said, “Everyone arrested in connection with the protest have all been released, except an individual that was caught with dangerous weapons.”
