Born on August 6, 1990, in Essex, England, Ferne McCann spent her early years in the town of Brentwood. Her parents separated when she was young, and she was raised by her mother, Gilly, who worked as a hairdresser. McCann attended a local school before going on to study for a degree in drama at the University of East London.
McCann first rose to fame in 2013 when she appeared on the ITVBe reality TV show “The Only Way Is Essex” (TOWIE). She became a fan favourite and continued to appear on the show for three years, until 2016.
