Free SHS students to embark on a massive demonstration over eating ‘one way’ Gob3 for weeks

Students of St. Joseph Senior High Technical school at Ahweren in the Bekwai Municipality of Ashanti Region are planning to hit the street in a massive demo over what they described as eating ‘one-way’ food, reports Ghanafeed.

The aggrieved student told reporters that they had been eating beans and gari, popularly called Gob3 in the local parlance for a very long time monotonously.

They said previously they had no option but now they are fed up with the routine and want a change immediately.

According to Ghanafeed, the students have given the administration and the government a one-week ultimatum to change the course of their meal.

They emphatically reminded the authorities that the fact that their education has been made free does not mean they should be subjected to this kind of treatment.
