We’ve finally got the full list of winners for 2016 City People Entertainment Awards which took place in Nigeria over the weekend on the 24th July, 2016 in Ikea, Lagos.
The City People Entertainment Awards is an annual accolade presented by City People Magazine to honour Nigerian and Ghanaian entertainers.
I was nominated at this year’s edition but my colleague blogger, Eugene Sarfo of Nkonkonsa.com swept the award from our category. Frank Artus won the Best Actor of the year, Yvonne Odor won best actress of the year and the new guy Jose Tolbert won Best Supporting Actress.
Shatta Wale won in the Musician of the year in the male category and Wiyaala also won in the female category. The full list of winners for 2016 City people entertainments awards have been added below for you to see.
Interestingly, more Ghanaian celebrities thronged the award show as compared to last year. I was at the award show last year and Juliet Ibrahim, Sonia Ibrahim and Victoria Michaels were the only Ghanaian celebrities I met but this year, the likes of Selly Galley, Salma Munin Bibi Bright, Stephanie Karikari, Eugene Sarfo, GhKwaku, Cole of the Emperor Consult, Fella Makafui, and Samuel Bravoact were all present.
