Former Ghana AIDS Commission Ambassador, actress and musician, Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, has again made a wild ALLEGATION against the former for siphoning huge sums of dollars from her advocacy works during the period she worked for them.
Joyce Mensah, who was once known at large as the AIDS Ambassador for the AIDS Commission since 2011, came out some months back to tell the whole nation that she has never contracted the deadly virus. She has therefore received tons of harsh bashing from the general public.
Joyce, who is touted as a no-nonsense lady, has hit hard at her critics – posted out of rage:
“What at all is wrong with people who don’t take their time to read and yet jump into conclusion in condemning people? I took it upon myself to educate people on HIV and stigma reduction because I taught I was infected with the virus when people started gossiping about me and eventually beat me up and threw me out of the house I was living with my parents at the age of nineteen.
“Having nowhere to sleep, someone took me to association of persons with HIV where I slept for two weeks.”
She continued that “I became an HIV ambassador and thinking I was helping educating and saving lives; people were busily making millions of dollars, using and kicking me out. People like the AIDS commission and the rest.”
The actress who sees nothing wrong with her public deceit conduct, said, “When I later got to know that I didn’t have the virus all this while, was is wrong for me to tell the truth or you would have preceded I lie and eventually set up an NGO to start making big money? Where is your sense of judgment? Am asking.”
