The paramount chief of Talengteng, Tongraana Naab Kugbilson Nalebegtang on the PM Show on Yem radio in Bolgatanga with host Albert Azongo Albert has expressed worries about the increasing spate at which the country is recording the novel coronavirus.
According to the paramount chief, “he wished Ghana wouldn’t record these number of cases for which he personally prays that no more cases would be recorded and the virus contained”.
He also admonished that Ghanaians pray to the almighty God “to save the world and mankind should be forgiven if we did something wrong to allow us to live”.
The paramount chief advised that “this should be a lesson to all to acknowledge the fact that we are nothing and there’s an almighty in all we do taking into consideration the current happenings around the world”.
He appreciated the response by the government in dealing with the pandemic by issuing directives but urged the government to provide the necessary support and logistics to combat the dreaded virus.
Naab Tongraana Naab Kugbilson Nalebegtang also called on his subjects to adhere to the directives given by the President Nana Akuffo Addo.
