Today, December 2, marks the day that Ghanaian-British musical gem, Fuse ODG was born.

As birthday wishes are in order across social media for Fuse ODG, real name Nana Richard Abiona, The ‘Azonto’ hitmaker took time to appreciate God for his latest feat.

He mentioned that though this was a tough year, (understandably because this has been a year bedevilled with so many misfortunes owing to the COVID-19 outbreak, and the passing of prominent personalities as everyone would attest to) God will never put us through what we can’t handle.

He wrote on Twitter: “Birthday bwoy dat! Grateful for life! Thank you God for another year. Thank you all for the love

… This year has been eventful to say the least but God will never put us through anything that we cannot handle. Continue to smile for me birthday bwoy..greatness ahead”.

Fuse ODG’s reverence to God on the occasion of his birthday is likely to ignite conversations on why he decided to burn paintings of Jesus Christ sometime back and referring them it as powerless.

He also added, then, that it was wrong for Christians, especially Africans, to hang the images of Christ on their walls, in churches and even in their homes.

Do add your voice to the conversations and wish Fuse ODG well.

We here say happy birthday to Fuse.
