A man who wore blue jeans and black dashiki to his white wedding has finally reacted after he was trolled and tagged as “low budget.”
Conam-Moses Orseer Anyamikegh is the groom whose photos went viral after he was seen on his special day in what many described as “unconventional” attire.
Many who came into contact with these photos did not understand why a man or groom will decide to put on such clothes when his bride is customarily dressed in a white wedding gown.
The wedding photos from the ceremony which took place on 6th March 2021 at the NKST Church Iortyer in Makurdi has flooded social media.
But reacting to all the trolls and backlash on Sunday, March 7 at the thanksgiving ceremony, Moses said his choice of attire does not determine the outcome or success of their marriage.
“It’s a Sunday, a day after our wedding, and we are full of Thanksgiving! To God we return all glory, to men of goodwill we say thank you!,” he wrote.
“One thing I (The Husband) would say is, the wedding has come and gone. The varying opinions and debates about my simple outfit does not define how our marriage would be
“There has never been a perfect wedding nor marriage, but when two hearts agree to accommodate their imperfections like we have done, there’s very little wedding suits or gowns can do to change that resolve
“We love all of you and God bless all of you for being part of our big day. My wife and I are grateful, cheers!”
