Guinea President Gives His Citizens Free Electricity, Water, Transport & Freezes Rents During Lockdown

Ghanaians were over the moon when Nana Akufo Addo announced that his government has absorbed three months water bills during the lockdown period, alongside some other laudable initiatives.

But we guess that is ‘chicken change’ when you compare it to what the President of Guinea Alpha Conde has done for his country.

The President is supplying free electricity, water, and transport. He has also asked citizens not to pay rents.

Prices placed on pharmaceutical products and basic necessities have been scrapped.So far, Guinea has recorded 128 Coronavirus cases with 5 recoveries and no deaths.
