Ghana musician and CEO of NKZ Muzik, Nana Yaw Adjei Yeboah Maradona, well known as Guru, has given a detailed account on the supposed second separation of the Wutah group.
One of the oldest music groups in Ghana WUTAH will only be a part of musical history after Wutah Kobby announced in a video that the musical is dead for good and that there isn’t even an iota of hope for reconciliation.
The group WUTAH came into the limelight after they placed second to Praye during the Maiden edition of the Nescafe African Revelations competition in Accra.
The very talented duo thrilled music lovers with hits like Kotosa, goosy gander, big dreams and lot more before their initial split.
The Chief Executive Officer of NKZ Music, Guru lamenting in an interview on Kingdom FM noted that one half of the group was not helping the sustainability and progress of the group.
According to him in his revelation, this person was always causing confusion and never showed any seriousness; refusing to perform at events and also record his part for new songs.
Though Guru failed to point out the one causing all the mayhem in the group, all fingers are pointing at Afriyie as it has been revealed by a number of entertainment pundits that Afriyie is a greedy artist who always seeks for more benefits because he feels he is bigger than anybody including him (Guru) as a manager.
He also revealed how ‘the same person’ signed ambassadorial deals for himself instead of the group.
“Invest is not a joke. it takes dedication and teamwork…, the same person made us change contract multiple times because he felt he is big,” Guru bemoaned expressing his disappointment for uniting the group after they went on their separate ways for the first time.
