The Electoral Commission (EC) has called on all Ghanaians to go their various polling stations where they registered their voter’s ID card to verify if all their details are correct.

Furthermore, a short message service (SMS) platform has been launched to enable registered voters to check their registration details. The shortcode, 1422, will be activated on Friday, September 18, to Friday, September 25, 2020.

To check registration details, voters would have to text their voter ID card number to the short code.

The exhibition of the voters register would commence on Friday, September 18, to Friday, September 25.

The eight-day exercise would give registered voters the opportunity to authenticate their personal information.

The exercise would also help the EC rid the register of unqualified persons ahead of the December 7 polls.
