He added that he chews back his words against the former president, John Dramani Mahama when he went to the IMF for help to run the country.

A few weeks ago, the NPP Government under the leadership of President Nana Addo convinced Ghanaians to accept extra charges on their electronic transactions.

They claimed that with the extra charges, the Government will not have to run to the IMF for help.

Even though the new development caused a lot of unrest among the citizens, the Government still went ahead and implemented the E-levy.

This action collapsed a lot of businesses and forced many low-income individuals to resort to other forms of electronic transactions. Some went as far as deactivating their mobile money accounts.

These actions have forced the Government to run back to the IMF after declaring that nothing will make them go back to the IMF.

Reacting to this, Kennedy Agyapong expressed his disappointment in the Government for running back to the IMF.
