Ghanaian fashion designer and actor, Elikem Kumordzie has revealed that the reason why he closed down his flagship shop at East Legon for his fashion business was because of the expensive rent charges.

For several weeks now, his stores at East Legon has been closed and some of us have been wondering what could have been the issue but in a new video the fashion designer posted on his Instagram account to sort of inspire his fans, he stated that the rent for his stores was super crazy and he could no longer afford it.

He also disclosed that he’s focusing on building his own on some little land his father left around Dzorwulu.

The fashion designer could be seen standing on top of the storey building he’s working on as he reveals why he had to abandon the East Legon shops and start building his own even when he didn’t have the cash to actually do it, but he started anyways with as little as Ghc5,000.

He advised other entrepreneurs to just start working on that project without thinking too much about where the full capital was going to come from as things would begin to fall in place once they get started.
