I Was Inspired By Drake To Become A Rapper–Kwesi Arthur Talks About His Music On BBC

Kwesi Arthur is making great strides in the music industry and has disclosed in his recent interview with the BBC, that he picked inspiration from Drake to become a rapper.

He disclosed that he would have been a footballer but had a change of mind later on in Secondary school when he started listening to more of Drake and that was when he felt he could write some rap.

Kwesi Arthur who was nominated at this year’s BET but lost told BBC’s Focus on Africa that his kind of music talks about people grow up poor but keep the hustle on because they want to be able to achieve something.

He also added that, he couldn’t go to the university because there was no money home to sponsor his education and that he’s now in a position to be able to talk about these things through music and make others to know that, their dreams should not be limited by where they can come from.
