Some distinguished men including business magnates such as Ibrahim Mahama and Sam Jonah attended the private cocktail organised by Black Sherif and his management over the successful release of his debut album, The Villain I Never Was.
The album which dropped on October 6 has become the first Ghanaian album to surpass over 100 million streams across digital streaming platforms, particularly Boomplay.
In a series of videos shared on Instagram by popular bloggers, the aforementioned wealthy men were seen beaming with smiles and exchanging pleasantries with the man of the moment, Black Sherif at the private event.
Other influential people and industry players were also seen at the event. The Villian I Never Was which has only one feature in the person of Burna Boy, has tracks including, ‘The Homeless Song’, ‘Oil In My Head’, ’45’, ‘Prey Da Youngsta’, ‘Sad Boys Don’t Fold’, ‘Konongo Zongo’, ‘Waste Man’, ‘We Up’, ‘Toxic Love City’, ‘Don’t Forget Me’, and ‘Oh Paradise’.
