Ghanaian broadcaster, Bridget Otoo is very incensed with the selective treatment given to Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1 after his actions and inactions rendered many Ghanaians bankrupt.
According to her, in any fair country where rules and laws work, NAM1 should probably be behind bars and has been forced to refund all the money he took from the unsuspecting customers.
This comes following the news that Rosemond Brown aka Akuapwem Poloo has been convicted and on the verge of being sentenced to prison following an unacceptable photo she shared with her son some months ago.
Bridget Otoo believes the haste and speed with which Akuapem Poloo’s case has been treated even though she has not caused any harm should have been given to the NAM1 case especially looking at the severity of the two cases and the casualties involved.
She believes NAM1 is free and has the guts to share videos on Instagram and Twitter because he is connected to people in power and although he has placed the lives of many who invested in his defunct gold dealership firm Menzgold in jeopardy, he appears to care less.
Which according to her argument defeats how priority is not given to important issues while trivial issues are treated with all seriousness because of the vulnerable persons involved.
Bridget wrote the following on Twitter:
NAM1 is still free and doing Instagram post. A man described by the state as a scammer. A man whose actions has killed people, rendered thousands jobless and some are at the point of suicide! He’s free cos he’s connected! #AkuapemPoloo
