According to reports, WWE legend Jerry “The King” Lawler is now hospitalized after suffering a medical issue.
Wrestling icon “Hulk Hogan,” 73, reportedly became unwell on Monday at his Florida villa. Over the years, he’s had a number of roles with WWE, including commentator and Kickoff show panelist (February 6).
PWInsider reports that earlier in the day, Lawler had lunch with pals.
According to Action News 5, the famed Memphis wrestler is doing OK after surgery after a stroke he had at his home in Fort Myers, Florida.

He had a heart attack while hosting WWE Raw in 2012, and then a stroke the following year. Recently, he appeared on Raw XXX to celebrate the show’s 30th anniversary.
In the wake of the news, many famous people, including Rock N’ Roll Express alum and all-around nice guy Ricky Morton, flocked to social media to express their sorrow and pray for Lawler.
