News coming in says that Nigerian artist Kizz Daniel has been released after the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) and his legal team stepped in.
It would be recalled that Ghbase.com reported in the late hours of yesterday that the Buga crooner was picked up by the police in Tanzania for failing to perform at a publicized show on Sunday.

Apparently, the artist was supposed to perform at an event in Tanzania on Sunday, August 7th. According to reports, fans who paid as much as $5,000 for tables flared up and caused havoc after the artist refused to show up for the show.
In a new update, the chairperson of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa has taken to their page to update the fans of the artist that he has been released by the Tanzanian police.
Ms Dabiri-Erewa tweeted, “Kizz Daniel @KizzDaniel has been released. His legal team will however report back to the police tomorrow while he will subsequently return to Nigeria.”
