Kofi Kinaata sues event promoter for defamation

Ghanaian rapper, singer and songwriter Kofi Kinaata has taken an event promoter to court for defaming his character.

Kofi Kinaata in a writ by his lawyers is demanding an apology from event promoter and artist manager identified as Sleeky for making defamatory statements about the artist.

Kofi Kinaata is demanding a public apology and clearance from the promoter before May 22, 2020, or meet him in court for some defamatory statements he made on Facebook.

The summons signed by the lawyers of Kofi Kinaata and his team move in Takoradi, Bosomtwi Sam and Associates has been served to Sleeky, who has further acknowledged receipt.

The summons has been received by Sleeky says….

“Take notice and notice is nearby given to you that, should you fail to comply by this notice by the time hearing set, we shall not hesitate but promptly sue you in court for the necessary remedies,”
