Supporters of the National Democratic Congress are rejoicing over the rejection of Kojo Oppong Nkrumah as Minister for the Information Ministry by Parliament’s Appointment Committee.
Actually the NDC minority on the Parliament’s Appointment Committee, the committee responsible for the vetting and approval of these ministers, unanimously rejected him and others.
Other ministers who have been rejected so far include Minister-designate for Fisheries and Aquaculture Mavis Hawa Koomson and Minister-designate for Food and Agriculture, Afriyie Akoto.
According to the NDC MPs on the committee, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah failed to answer his questions truthfully and thus does not fit to be passed as a minister.
On the back of that NDC supporters are rejoicing over Kojo Oppong Nkrumah nemesis. According to them, the Ofoase Ayerebi lawmaker has always disrespected Mahama and has paid for it.
