A popular Ghanaian artist, Kuami Eugene (Rockstar), has joined Empire Africa. The Ghanaian back-to-back hitmaker kuami Eugene in his recent post on Twitter made it known to Ghanaians that he has joined Empire Africa.
On 19 October 2022, Kuami Eugene tweeted that he has joined Empire Africa and this caused confusion on social media about him leaving Lynx Entertainment.
Kuami Eugene has not officially announced to the public that he has left Lynx Entertainment so this remains a speculation.
It’s at the back of this that highly-opinionated showbiz critic Ruthy of Kumasi-based Nhyira Fm has postulated that Kuami Eugene should have followed the footsteps of Sarkodie by establishing his own record label say “Rockstar Records”.
According to Ruthy, Sarkodie wouldn’t have been bigger musically if h had signed onto Akon’s Konvict Muzik years ago after leaving DuncWills Entertainment.
Therefore, Kuami Eugene should have made the same move else Empire Africa might not help him for obvious reasons despite the fact that it has helped Black Sherif.
You all know that Empire has made Black Sherrif a whole icon by distributing his songs to Africa and beyond.
