Many have been left in pleasant shock after photos of a man with thickly overgrown dreadlocks who has been ordained as Catholic priest popped up online generating heated debate among netizens.
According to @MrObi_ who shared these photos on Twitter, this man is a Jamaican who was ordained as a priest at a Catholic parish in Canada.
This is certainly the first time someone with dreadlocks is being seen as a priest by many especially when Christian faith and teachings prohibits any form of appearance that contradicts the Word of God…when dreadlocks are seen as a secular lifestyle.
