She is an American voice actress, television host, and producer. She is best known for her roles as herself, as well as her characters Keyleth and Beauregard, on the Dungeons & Dragons web series Critical Role.

Marisha Ray has been a consistent voice behind video games, notably voicing over the video games as Margaret in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax and Persona Q, as Laura S. Arseid in The Legend of Heroes and Trails of Cold Steel series, and Miranda in Metal Gear: Survive.

The early life of Marisha Ray

The voice actress, host, and producer’s full name is Marisha Ray Huber.

She was born on May 10, 1989, in Louisville, Kentucky, USA.

She graduated in 2007 from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she studied acting.

Her mother took care of dogs as her father was engaged in selling tyres for trucks, but she didn’t stay with them that much as she was with her grandfather who was a farmer who owned a tobacco farm in Louisville.

She was six when she started helping her grandfather on his tobacco farm.

At age 12, she had found out what she wanted to do as she started acting at the Actors Theater of Louisville.

She moved from Louisville to Los Angeles at 19 to pursue her acting career.

After a bit of a difficulty at the start as things weren’t that rosy for her as she was hardly given a look-in in terms of auditions, she took up street performing on Hollywood Boulevard by tap-dancing for a short time before eventually moving on to full-time busking by dressing up as Tinkerbell for three years.

The persistent always get to do what they want to do as they will never give up until they are closer to their dreams. Marisha was so persistent despite all the setbacks she faced in Los Angeles after relocating there from Louisville.

In 2015, she began co-starring in the web series Critical Role, on which she joins fellow voice actors in playing Dungeons & Dragons Fifth Edition.

This was after she had produced a Batgirl fan series in 2012 called Batgirl: Spoiled, in which she played the titular character.

After a series of movies and TV shows, Ray announced her appointment to the creative director of Geek and Sundry On on 28th July 2017.

In June 2018, she stepped down to become the creative director for Critical Role Productions.
