Market women parade and whip thief for daring to steal at Accra Central market

A thief was yesterday paraded and whipped by market women at Accra Central for daring to steal from a store.

The robber had a day to forget for being bold enough to commit theft at Accra Central of all locations.

Nearly all of the marker women in the lane where the event occurred ganged to beat him up with whatever object they found.

At first, he wasn’t opposing the beatings but when the beatings became more severe, he eventually discovered a means to escape.

Even after he managed to extricate himself, they kept pounding him with the objects in their hands.
