Artistes changing their names to reflect a new direction as regard their career is not uncommon in the entertainment industry. International stars like Jay-Z, P. Diddy and a host of others have changed their names before.

In Ghana, there a couple of artistes who felt they have to change their names as part of their rebranding process to gain the kind of prominence they want.
