The founder of the International Youth Empowerment Summit (IYES), Pastor Brian Amoateng few days ago took to his Instagram page to lambast actor Mmebusem for his ‘Ghana Jesus’ skit stating that the actor’s actions amounted to mockery which is totally unacceptable.
While Pastor Brian was supported by the likes of Joselyn Duma, he came under a barrage of criticisms by those who were against his comment on social media.
However, Pastor Brian’s elder brother who is also a pastor and the leader of House of Miracle Ministry, Prophet Sampson Amoateng has backed up his brother’s comments in a recent interviewwith Zionfelix on the ‘Uncut Show’.when he was at the Nsawam prison to make a donation .
According to Prophet Sampson, he is not against Mmebusem’s comedy his only problem is the fact that he (Mmebusem) is using Jesus which is totally wrong.
Explaining his point, Prophet Sampson stated that; “the scripture states categorically that the name Jesus is special, and as such, it has been given to only one man, who is the son of the creator of heaven and earth and not any different man. You can’t use Jesus’ name in vain all in the name of comedy! That is wrong”.
The likes of songstress cum entrepreneur Mzbel have all taken a swipe at Pastor Brian over his comments. Mzbel asked that Mmebusem be left alone to do what he did best.
