A very frustrated Cristiano Ronaldo could not bring his frustration under control when Manchester United lost to Liverpool at home at Old Trafford.
A game that started very well took a drastic turn when United conceded two goals within 15 minutes.
A deft pass from Greenwood which Cristiano Ronaldo failed to convert got the player infuriated. He decided to attack Curtis Jones to recover the ball but ended up hitting him together with the ball in the groin.
Cristiano Ronaldo burst out his emotions by shoving and pushing the Liverpool players who rushed to the scene. Bruno Fernandes had to run in to help fend off the opposition players.
The action by Ronaldo could have gotten him sent off but he ended up getting booked for that. Other chances that fell to the former Juventus player did not materialize into goals.
Although he had a chance to score a goal that was ruled out, Manchester United could not match up to the pace and intensity of Liverpool and lost by 5 goals to nil.
Mohammed Salah got a hattrick, Pogba was sent off and many are calling for Ole Gunnar Solskjær to be sacked.
