Ghanaian actor, Mikki Osei Berko, otherwise known as Master Richard, has revealed how broke most Ghanaian celebrities are.

The veteran actor in a recent interview with Eugene Nkansah on ‘Konkonsa’, said that at least about 80 per cent of Ghanaian celebrities can’t afford a decent healthcare.

He stressed that most celebrities in the country are paupers.

“I am not a rich man and I served in an industry for 26years and there shouldn’t be a point that I won’t have money to buy fuel for my car…it does happen,” he reiterated.

Master Richard further noted that most Ghanaian celebrities are not paid well in the entertainment industry hence the reason they are still poor.

His comment has confirmed the many sentiments shared by the likes of Stonebwoy, Lydia Forson and other other industry players that the entertainment industry in Ghana is not lucrative.
