Mr Eazi advises underground artists to look up to Patapaa

Nigeria musical artist, Mr Eazi has heaped praises on Patapaa whiles advising upcoming talents on how to a breakthrough in the music industry.

According to him, they should emulate Patapaa’s tenacity as far as music is concerned.

Explaining why he used Patapaa as an example to up and coming artist on Joy FM with George Quaye, he revealed that the Swedru-based artist is so determined he does not allow situations around him to deter him when he is taking a step.

He further added that he took inspiration from a video where he saw Patapaa perform to just 3 or 4 people with the same energy as if he was performing to over 10,000 people.

“When you see Patapaa recording, there’s this confidence that he’s the best. In his head, he feels he’s better than Jay Z. I’ve watched Patapaa perform to a crowd and it was maybe just 3 or 4 people and Patapaa was performing as if it was 100,000 people”, Mr Eazi stated.

Mr Eazi ended by advising underground acts to take advantage of their communities to build an organic fan base.
