Ghanaian singer, rapper, and songwriter, Mildred Ashong who goes by the stage name Eazzy has distanced herself from flyers making rounds across social media over her endorsement of the candidature of President Akufo-Addo ahead of the December polls.
In a tweet, the ‘Bend Down Low’ hitmaker sought to clarify that she has not been approached by any political party seeking her endorsement.
Her reaction comes on the back of a flyer that depicts her supposed allegiance to and support for the New Patriotic Party ahead of the December polls.
The said flyer of Eazzy had some NPP flags printed on it with a concerted message of her endorsement of ‘4 More 4 Nana,’ the slogan for the incumbent political party for the 2020 elections.
‘I respect every political party! I have not been approached to publicly endorse any political party, my vote is personal and private so please disregard these posts and such Edited pictures. they are fake “ thank You”

Meanwhile, the likes of Andy Dosty, Bibi Bright, Cwesi Oteng amongst others have publicly thrown their support behind the ‘4 More 4 Nana’ mantra while Rex Omar, John Dumelo, Mr Beautiful amongst others are rooting for former President Mahama who doubles as the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
This year’s general election is expected to be one of the fiercely contested electioneering exercise in the democratic history of Ghana with many factors for and against the two prominent candidate: President Akufo-Addo and John Mahama.
