In the religious narrative especially in Islam and Christianity, a women is indirectly incomplete without a man in her life. This analogy goes a long way to laud the oldest human institution, marriage.
So, it’s somehow disheartening to see a bunch of bitter and ignorant ladies on social media who pride themselves as feminists are trying hard to change the status quo.
Regardless, marriage they say is a beautiful thing especially when you get the right partner as in the case of television personality, Stacey Amoateng who’s married to Quofi Okyeame. To Stacey, her husband is her everything, ceteris paribus!
The mother of three revealed in an interview with e.Tv Ghana how she does nothing unless she talks it out with him. According to her, he has remained the back bone and her support system and that is why she has been successful in all that she does.
“In life, each and everyone must have a support bone. Be it a sister, brother, mother, father or husband. Without a support bone, you will come crashing because you can’t do it all alone.
“I have been able to achieve all these successes in my businesses and foundations because I have a backbone which is my husband.
“I don’t do anything without consulting my husband first. Sometimes we go on loggerheads because he doesn’t at times agree with me on some decisions but that’s normal..My husband is just my everything”.
